I'm a music photographer from Los Angeles and I've been living in Miami since December 2014. I made the decision to move across the country to build my business and brand as a music photographer. My life's passion is photography but my goal in photography is to be the best music photographer in the world. Not only am I here in South Florida to capture the music scenes of Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa and Key West through my quality imagery. But I'm here to photograph all bands of all genres no matter where you are in the world. Along with being a music photographer, I'm also a portrait photographer where I photograph families, children and pets for two different photography companies in South Florida.
In one form or another, photography has always been a part of my life. But it didn't really choose me until 2007. For 21 years, I was a reservist for the United States Army and my job in the military was playing saxophone for the 300th Army Band. At that particular time I was creating the band's first website and I needed content, therefore I picked up a Nikon point and shoot camera and my life changed from that point forward.
As soon as I picked up the camera, my whole world changed, I started photographing all the guys in the band. From rehearsals, to performances, to candid moments and even some behind-the-scenes images, those earlier days saw my photographic block of marble start to take shape. Unbeknownst to me, that my very first day as a photographer was my first day as a music photographer and I couldn't be any happier.
